Happy Thursday – from Atlanta.
“Creative people are curious, flexible, persistent, & independent with a tremendous spirit of adventure & a love of play.” – Henri Matisse
^^^ This place gives “free shit haircuts.” Love it!!
Any time off is usually dedicated to one of the best spots here in Atlanta…Inman Park. Every city in the world should have an Inman Park. It’s an area of shops, adorable restaurants, parks, and is attached to the Beltline. It brings together an eclectic group of people and is always busy (but in a good way) with families, pets, friends, joggers, bikers, etc. It inspires the artist in you.
Grabbed some Top Shop shades and strolled for hours. It’s so fun!
Would love to hear what version of an Inman Park you all have…
So, we have taken a short break from blogging and have been packing for travel and enjoying the warm weather. It’s Spring time!
Stay tuned for upcoming posts featured not only in LA but now Atlanta! Banani will be featuring hot-lanta finds while she is away on work while Banana keeps you in the know with everything LA.
In the meantime we found this super cute poster and couldn’t resist sharing. We encourage you to be inspired and “Go Play Outside.”
Thanks for following and stay tuned…
a strong desire to travel.
“a man consumed by wanderlust”
No start is too small! We know from experience that all it takes is a tiny seed of an idea to be on your way toward the life you always imagined. If you have a thirst for the unexplored and the undiscovered like we do, start small and don’t look back. You will be surprised by what you can accomplish if you just set a goal and begin. These are the simple beginnings of the adventures of our future!
“Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny…” – C.S. Lewis
Our sweet sweet smokey bear! Yes he is as cuddly as he looks in his pictures, and quite possibly the biggest hero of the whole clan. Smokey is a rescue baby, and by the time we got him he had terrible glaucoma. Smokey is now completely blind and has prosthetic eyes, however you would NEVER know it if you met him! His sense of smell and hearing guide him everywhere he needs to go. He loves playing fetch with his mini tennis balls, and still keeps up with his brothers on hikes. He is the perfect example of adapting beautifully to hardship – Happy as a clam and completely unaware of his handicap, we are in awe everyday of our sweet little miracle!
“Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent” – Victor Hugo
This URBAN OUTFITTER’s purchase was such a wonderful addition to our living room nook. It is the simplest way to inspire a vintage, cozy feel in your home. Music is a powerful muse, and something about this old-timey shift in atmosphere inspires the most magical moments.
We got our record player here | Records are from here as well as thrift stores, music shops, & antique stores, etc. |
